★ What is a Fiction-kin?
Fictionkin is a connection, often spiritual or psychological, with a fictional character and/or species. This connection is deep enough to identify as and/or with them. Fictionkin often believe that they are or were a fictional character or species either now or in a past life. Sometimes kinning is used as a coping mechanism for neurodivergent people.★ What is otherkin?
Otherkin is the belief that you are, in a way, nonhuman. It is similar to fictionkin but with nonhuman creatures. Those who are otherkin with real-life animals (ex: wolves) are called therians.★ What is synpath/fictionhearted?
These two words mean the same thing: They are referring to a character that you identify with but not as. You can have a strong connection with a character to consider them a part of your identity but not think of them as you.★ What is a double?
Someone who also kins as the same character as you. Some people do not like doubles, some are iffy, and others are okay with doubles (usually depends on which kin specifically).
